Large-Format & Backlit Graphics

Large-format print design for textile walls, exhibition panels, foils, lightboxes, and backlit advertising. Artwork adapted to real materials and supplier templates.

Your question, our starting point

Will this layout still work across a wall, a seam, or a lightbox?

We design and prepare large-format artwork for exhibition panels, textile walls, media walls, foils, lightboxes, and backlit advertising. Layout, viewing distance, panel divisions, material behaviour, and supplier specifications guide the final production files.

What changes when the graphic gets bigger?

A wall is read differently from a brochure. The visitor may see it from an aisle, through a crowd, or behind a counter. We define the main message and viewing distance before filling the available surface. Essential text and images need to stay useful in the occupied space.

Panel divisions and hardware also become part of the composition. A seam through a face, a frame covering a logo, or a base hiding the call to action can spoil an otherwise tidy layout. The supplier’s template is a starting ingredient, not an afterthought.

How do materials affect the artwork?

Textiles, rigid boards, translucent films, and adhesive foils bring different constraints. We coordinate visible areas, edge finishing, cut paths, overlap, and colour requirements with the production partner. Lightbox and backlit work needs its own review under the intended illumination.

There is no universal export setting for every material and printer. Agreed scale, colour profile, image requirements, and output format follow the actual production brief.

How do we prepare for a cleaner handoff?

A production overview connects each file to its surface, dimension, orientation, and version. Where the scope includes it, DTP and print control adds a final artwork review. If matching several materials is the main concern, colour and material consultation addresses the proofing decisions before the full run.

What do you receive?

The final list belongs in the quote. Depending on your brief, the recipe can include:

  • A visual layout adapted to the real display dimensions
  • Panel, seam, safe-zone, and visible-area checks
  • Print-ready artwork using the supplier’s agreed specifications
  • A panel overview and file list for production and installation

What should you send us?

  • Final dimensions, panel splits, and the supplier’s artwork templates
  • Material and lighting details, including backlit or frontlit use
  • Brand artwork, image originals, content, and proofing arrangements

Missing an ingredient? Send what you have. We can help turn the unknowns into a workable brief.

A few practical answers

Before we start cooking.

Can a small image be used on a large wall?

It depends on the image, final size, viewing distance, and print process. We review the available original and discuss alternatives where it will not support the intended result.

Bring the problem. We’ll help with the recipe.

Tell us what needs to work, when you need it, and what you already have. We’ll work out the scope and next steps with you.
